Child Aid has earned Charity Navigator’s four-star rating sixteen times since 2003. Every day we strive to fulfill our mission of bringing literacy and hope to Guatemala’s children while delivering results for our supporters. We consider our supporters as direct partners who help us build brighter futures for children in Latin America. We undergo independent financial audits every year, and we make these reports available online, along with our tax returns. Furthermore, we invite donors to personally visit our program in Guatemala. We want as many supporters as possible to meet our staff and witness the impact of their contributions firsthand. Child Aid is recognized as a non-profit organization by the Guatemalan government and is recognized as an 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the U.S. Treasury.
