Where We Work
Child Aid partners with public primary schools to provide literacy training and resources to rural, indigenous communities, primarily in the western highlands of Guatemala.

Regional Offices
Child Aid literacy trainers are based out of three regional offices in the communities of Panajachel, Sololá and Patzún, Chimaltenango and San Cristóbal, Totonicapán. The regional offices provide a base to reach the many small remote communities and schools where we work. In 2020, Child Aid opens our third regional office in the department of Totonicapán, a region with some of the greatest poverty and lowest literacy rates in Guatemala.
